Christine Palmer Hennigan

Christine Palmer Hennigan is a Chartered Financial Consultant
with 1847Financial and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst and
Principal of Divorce Wealth Strategies, LLC. In her role, Christine
helps individuals and businesses achieve their goals through financial
planning. She specializes in working with clients who are divorced,
widowed or otherwise left to prepare for an independent future.
Christine’s areas of expertise include investments, insurance, retirement, estate and divorce planning.

A graduate of Drexel University, Christine received her BS in Finance in 1990, and began her career with 1847Financial soon after. Since then, Christine has worked tirelessly to involve women in financial decision-making. She has seen the problems that arise when women are unfamiliar with their finances before a divorce or death. She frequently works with attorneys and mediators as well as their clients to navigate the complex financial aspects of the divorce process, including help in determining the short and long-term financial impact of proposed divorce settlements. Christine works to be involved pre-divorce to help with financial strategy, and post- to help her clients move forward with new plans.

Christine is a member of the Chester County Estate Planning Council, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), the Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP), Society of Professional Women (SPW), the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts (IDFA), and a member/ vendor of the Women’s Health Source. She has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Main Line Today Magazine and other various publications. In addition, she has been a recurring speaker for the Family Law Section of the Chester County Bar, Haverford Trust, Society of Professional Women and various other venues. Additionally, she has sat on the past boards of WRN of Chester County and an advisory board of Nordstrom, King of Prussia where she developed a 3-part fashion and finance series. Christine resides in West Chester, Pa., with her husband Michael and their two children.
