John began his career in financial services in 2001 as a risk analyst for the international property group at Marsh & McLennan. He frequently gives presentations to individuals and business owners educating them on such topics as employee benefits, business continuity, and retirement planning.

In 2005, John began a financial planning practice to help individuals and businesses owners evaluate and manage their own financial decisions. Caserta & de Jongh, LLC is based on the premise that with their knowledge and their client’s vision for the future, innovative and creative financial solutions can be designed and implemented to help achieve financial success. As a graduate of Yale University, John remains dedicated to his alma mater by speaking and presenting to both undergraduate and graduate students about making intelligent financial decisions. John is involved in a number of civic organizations throughout Connecticut including the North Haven Rotary Club where he serves as an adviser, and The Yale Club of New Haven.

John is fluent in Italian and is actively involved in the Italian-American community. John is also an accomplished musician.
