Penn Mutual was thrilled to return to Las Vegas during the USA Sevens International Rugby tournament, as well as the Las Vegas Invitational (LVI) tournament earlier in March.

A big round of applause to all the teams, coaches, and fans at the tournament as rugby took center stage with national television coverage on NBC and NBC Sports. Congratulations especially to the men’s rugby team from the University Of Utah, who won the #PennMutualCRC division, granting them a bid to the Penn Mutual Collegiate Rugby Championship this June in Philadelphia.

We were particularly proud to support the USA Rugby Women’s Falcons as they entered the tournament and continued to prepare for the Olympics in Brazil later this year. Penn Mutual is sponsoring U.S. Olympian hopefuls Kristen Thomas and Madison Hughes as brand ambassadors while they train to be selected to the U.S. Olympic men’s and women’s rugby teams.

Penn Mutual had a tent on the fields where the college teams were playing and we were thrilled to speak to players about career opportunities with us. We were also in the Fan Festival area on Saturday and Sunday, where we gave people an opportunity to take a picture with our rugby-themed 3D art exhibit. This will be touring college campuses throughout the spring and you can see it in person during the Penn Mutual Varsity Cup in Salt Lake City on May 6 and the Penn Mutual Collegiate Rugby Championship in Philadelphia on June 4-5!
